I am delighted to announce that today, we have made our first charitable contribution, to Cancer Research UK.

The £250 contribution (£312.50 with Gift Aid) follow the very generous offer of one of our clients , to not receive a reduction in the fees we charged them for advice, but instead make a contribution to a Charity with a proportion of the fee (increased to the £250 as I elected to make a Charitable Gift in lieu of sending Christmas Cards out).

With Cancer Research UK announcing that today '1 in 2 people may get cancer, at some point in their life', this gift could not have been better timed.
